Enjoyed my Easter stay at a decent hotel. Appreciated the friendly and welcoming staff, as well as the on-site restaurant and bar. the location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation links. Also loved the comfortable and clean rooms that came with great amenities.

Housekeeping could have been better, as I noticed some minor issues with cleanliness in the room.

Customer service was extremely handy. We liked how close it is to the galleria. A great base for exploring Hatfield. Would recommend this place...

Poor room. Radiator would not turn off. External door banged against my room door keeping me awake. Changed rooms but noisy machinery outside my window kept me awake

The staff were most welcoming, very attentive and helpful. Room service was very punctual. Very well situated in relation to University & Business Park and for sight-seeing at St Albans.

The bathroom was rather chilly; a heated towel rail would have been welcome.

We stayed at the Comet for our honeymoon 46 years ago and was a little concerned as to what it would be llike after so long. We were delighted that although it had changed with the times but it was still the same. A delight. The hotel and staff could not have been nicer. Thank you Margaret and David Parkinson

the location was convenient, with shops nearby at the Galleria shopping center. the room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom. the service was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly. the highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast, with a wide range of hot and cold options. it was a great place to stay for my adventure trip.

There was one aspect of the hotel that was disappointing - the dinner.

Breakfast quoted @£8, billed £11.95. Shower blocked and was not cleared even though they said they would. Room was not cleaned until reminder made at 3pm,

Convenient Location, Good Staff

This hotel is conveniently located, close to many places of interest in the city. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The hotel also offers complimentary internet and parking, which is a plus.

The building is quite old and outdated, most amenities in the rooms need an upgrade. The room smelled musky, and the windows were hard to open, also the shower was not working properly.

Friendly welcome on arrival, staff very helpful and quick to build a rapport. The room was clean and comfortable, I will be staying here regularly based on my experience.

Good value for money mostly clean modern hotel well situated for shops and motorway.

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel room was incredibly spacious and clean, providing a comfortable environment for us. The shower was great with side sprays and even had a seat if needed. The highlight was definitely the food, which was cooked extremely well. The service in the restaurant was faultless. We have stayed in a few hotels in this city recently, but this one tops the list for everything.

Lack of air conditioning. Windows opening onto a busy, noisy, main road. Dirty shower. Cracked hand basin. Very poor breakfast with dirty surfaces and stacks of un-cleared tea bags. Unsure whether these are dislikes or complaints. However, they are facts.
